We are spending the night in Apostoles. Last night we stayed in Goya and tomorrow we are headed to Posadas. We have been driving along the Argentine and Brazilian border meeting with missionaries and introducing ourselves. What an incredible and dedicated group of young men and women from all over the world. After I interview each missionary companionship, we have our picture taken with them.
For some reason there is a gasoline shortage so we had to hit a few stations to get our diesel. Other than that the driving has gone smoothly. We have been amazed at the vast ranch land and the variety of birds. Tomorrow we will be headed to more of the jungle region to meet more missionaries. I have only met with about one third (60) of them. We head back home for 2 days on Friday and should be in Resistencia in the evening. Monday we head out to the Paraguayan border region.
Surprisingly it has been cold--in the 30s and 40s. We have been told to enjoy it while we can. And so we do.
